I hope you always remember
These past two weeks and these amazing people:

with their generous spirits and open hearts,
The thought provoking activities of Lee & Farhad
The endless laughter of your classmates
I hope you tell and retell these stories
Of snakes & sloths, bug bites and sun burns
Climbing vines and floating forests
Of hanging tents and sinking canoes
Of early morning dolphin sightings and
Late night cockroach killings
I hope these stories are told over and over,
Until your grandchildren beg you to stop
But secretly write them down in a biography about you
I hope you remember the stars
The way you felt when you sat in the boat, in the lagoon,
Just a spec in the universe
But most of all, I hope this experience makes you hungry for more
That you find ways of making the Earth a better place and
Traveling the world to share how wonderful you are with everyone you meet
